The mammal was found to be wearing a harness fitted with a camera mount and the words 'Equipment St Petersburg' were discovered on the buckle. This caused speculation to break out about the whale's involvement in some kind of sinister undercover activity.

They face an invention test with a difference, having to create a dish that includes tonight's mystery ingredient - garlic. In the West Country, he meets a pioneer of the organic food movement, a famous female cheesemaker, and chef Mark Hix, who cooks him pollock, cockles and seashore veg.

With 60 minutes on the clock and two medical-themed challenges to fulfil, both teams race around an antiques fair at Southwell Racecourse, Nottinghamshire. They are assisted in their endeavours by experts Stephanie Connell and Gary Pe. Natasha Raskin Sharp hosts and also speaks to Dr Jenni Hunt from the Old Operating Theatre Museum in London.

Cameras follow leadership struggles among Barbary macaque monkeys in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. As mating season approaches, his allies start to turn against him, and a brutal attack sees him deposed, and banished from the group.
