  • 20:00 Wimbledon 2026 : Day Seven BBC2 - 3

Clare Balding presents continued coverage of day seven of the Grand Slam event from the All England Club, featuring fourth-round matches in the men's and ladies' singles competitions. This day was traditionally a rest day at SW19, but that was changed in 2022, with one of the main reasons being that advances in grass technology and maintenance meaning the courts no longer required a day of recovery mid-tournament. The crowd were treated to a strong performance by Carlos Alcaraz against a competitive opponent on the seventh day last year, with the 2023 and 2024 champion defeating Andrey Rublev 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4. However, the Spaniard will not be present this year due to a wrist injury, leaving the likes of Rublev with possibly their best chance yet of winning a Grand Slam.
